2002 BMW 330Ci
This is the car that Patty Tunnell drove to 4 Solo and ProSolo
National Championships.
Bob Tunnell and Kevin
Youngers also drove this car to 4 ProSolo and 2 Divisional Solo
II wins.
The car began life as a zero-option (no sunroof) 2002 330Ci and ran in the SCCA's DS class in autocrossing with no changes other than shocks, a front sway bar, cat-back exhaust, light wheels and tires, an ITG air filter, and synthetic fluids. In this configuration Patty won the DSL Solo II National Championship, ProSolo L1 Class Championship, and ProSolo Ladies Overall Championship.
For the 2003 season it was built and prepared by Bimmer Haus to SCCA Street Prepared specifications -- including flaring the fenders with E46 M3 fender arches to accomodate 285/30/18 tires on 18x10 wheels -- and went on to win several more ProSolos and another National Championship. It is a proven winner. It has been professionally maintained by Bimmer Haus Performance since new.
As good as this car is on the aurocross course, perhaps its highest and best use would be as a Club Racer or track car where it can really stretch its legs. We can install a GCR-legal roll cage for track use and can easily convert the car to SCCA T2 or BMW Club JS specs for you. Or... we have an S62 (M5 V8) motor sitting on the shelf that's just begging to be dropped in to make this car a competitive Street Mod autocross car or an outrageous track animal.
You could not duplicate this car for less than $80k, but you can own it for half that. Delivery is also available.
Price reduced to $35k, negotiable based on spares package.
Email or call Bob Tunnell at Bimmer Haus (866.327.4287) for more information.
