Special notes regarding installation in Z3 and M Coupes/Roadsters:

Z3s and M Coupes/Roadsters are not equipped with a typical OE hold down clamp. They use a lid over the battery compartment, secured by two 13mm nuts, as the hold down mechanism.

The top of the SAE terminals on the PC680 battery, when mounted in the RW battery box, are about 3/16" taller than the OE battery. Best options for proper fitment include:

      1) remove 1/8" or so from the tops of the terminals (easily done with a grinder),

      2) bolt the battery box directly to the bottom of the battery enclosure (very easy) and eliminate the OE lid, or

      3) use the battery without the RW battery box (reduces the overall height by 1/8") and use foam or some other packing material to secure the battery laterally within the OE enclosure.

We've sold dozens of these RW battery boxes and Odyssey batteries to M Roadster/Coupe owners and they report excellent results with any one of these three installation methods.
